Some tenderness in handcrafting: hemp warp and weft, hand-dyed and interlaced in the gentle rhythm of a kakinohana pattern.
Un souffle de tendresse dans l’artisanat : les fils de chanvre, teints à la main, s’entrelacent au rythme d
An indigo exhibition in an ancient temple, rain falling on a pond surrounded by pine and maple, a quiet moment of stillness and meditation—when all of this happens in one place, in one moment, what could be better? @buaisou_i @ryosokuin
Some first-year machine knitting class projects! A cozy bonnet and cache-cou in fine merino, plus tabi socks in raw silk — soft, textured, and full of learning.

Quelques projets de tricot à la machine de ma première année
One of my first-year textile school projects was to weave the perfect plain weave, where the warp and weft interlace evenly to form a grid of perfect squares. After we finished weaving, our teacher asked us to dye the fabric to “desacralize&rdq
Another lovely pincushion workshop with returning students! 🧵✨
Hosting at my own space means I can’t accommodate as many people as in the beginner workshops, but it’s always cozy, relaxed, and full of great energy.
